According to the announcement published on the Competition Authority’s website, the investigation on the alleged violation of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition with various practices aimed at determining the price by agreeing between drug manufacturers and tender pharmaceutical warehouses and selling above the value, has been completed.
The Board imposed an administrative fine of 4 million 605 thousand 320 liras to Gül Ecza Deposu Sanayi ve Ticaret A. Thus, a total of 6 million 14 thousand 219 lira administrative fines were imposed on 2 companies.
It was decided that Deva Holding AŞ and Haver Farma İlaç AŞ did not violate Article 4 of the Law No. 4054, therefore there was no need to impose administrative fines on these undertakings.
