Health Minister Fahrettin Koca made a statement stating that the additional wages paid to healthcare workers will be reconsidered.
Minister Koca attended the 6th Meeting of the Board of Presidents of the 6th Term of Health-Sen by videoconference.
In his speech, he drew attention to the difficult conditions in which healthcare professionals work and the sacrifices they make during the pandemic process. Making evaluations about the personal rights of healthcare workers, he said, “We are aware of the lack of equity in the additional wages received by the staff. A radical revision is on our agenda in order to introduce a more equitable additional payment system.”
Minister Koca stated that they are also aware of the different payments made due to the low shift fees and the legislation that can be interpreted differently. He shared that arrangements will also be made on these issues.
