Controversial vaccination decision in Pakistan: Those who do not have the phone will be turned off

New sanctions have been introduced to increase the vaccination rate in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

Cell phones of those who refuse to be vaccinated in the country will be blocked.

The news appeared in the Indian press. Punjab state officials announced that the mobile phones used by citizens who refuse to be vaccinated against the corona virus will be blocked and disabled.

“Initially it was just a suggestion, but people were very hesitant to get vaccinated, so the decision was put into practice,” said Hammad Raza, spokesperson for the Punjab Health Department.

In Sindh, it was decided not to pay salaries to non-vaccinated civil servants as of next month.
