Corona virus increases the risk of erectile dysfunction in men by 6 times – Health News

After adjusting for variables thought to have an impact on erectile dysfunction development, such as psychological status, age, and body mass index, the odds ratio for developing erectile dysfunction after having Covid-19 was 5.66 percent.

Similarly, men with erectile dysfunction were 5.27 percent more likely to have Covid-19.

Finally, the study’s authors note that people who experience the sudden onset or worsening of erectile dysfunction may also consider quarantining as a precaution or being tested for Covid-19. Experts warned that the corona virus could act as a potential trigger for the onset of erectile dysfunction or be an aggravating factor for its progression to more severe forms.
