Long Covid, why does it affect women more? – Health News

Increasing evidence from around the world shows that people who contract Covid-19 and recover from its infection may experience a range of ongoing symptoms including fatigue, heart palpitations, stroke, brain fog and shortness of breath. A “prolonged Covid-19” condition occurs when symptoms last eight weeks or longer.

In a previous study by scientists, it was revealed that one out of every seven people who caught Covid-19 struggled with Covid-19 for at least four weeks, one out of every 20 people for at least eight weeks, and one out of every 45 people for at least 12 weeks put it.
