One person died due to the “mysterious disease” in the state of Kano in the north of Nigeria, 56 people were treated at the hospital.
According to reports in the national press, 1 person died in 6 villages of the Rogo region of the province due to the disease that could not be diagnosed yet, 56 people were hospitalized.
Authorities stated that while investigations into the cause of death of the deceased person continued, some of those who were brought to the hospital had vomiting and blood in the urine.
On the other hand, an official in charge of the epidemic at the Ministry of Health in Kano said that the ministry received a report on the epidemic, but only 4 people were affected and treated.
