Reese Witherspoon: I was hypnotized for panic attacks

American actress Reese Witherspoon announced that she had panic attacks for weeks due to her fear of shooting the 2014 film Wild, and she resorted to hypnosis to overcome this fear.

Reese Witherspoon, who won an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Cheryl in Wild, confessed to the film years later.
The 45-year-old actress said that the movie about the 1770-kilometer walk that the main character did alone was the one that changed her the most because of the price she paid.
Stating that the project was difficult due to the dark elements of the story and not being used to performing alone, Witherspoon said, “I was very scared to shoot the movie. I had a panic attack and was hypnotized for three weeks before I started shooting.”
Plot: Cheryl Strayed is a woman shaken by the death of her beloved mother, stuck in drugs, and devoted to self-destruction with the dissolution of her marriage. While Cheryl is struggling with the nightmares of the past, especially the memories of her mother Bobbi, she suddenly makes a radical decision.
She’ll take her bag and hit the road and walk alone on the Pacific Crest Trail, one of America’s longest, toughest, and most dangerous areas. During this dangerous but refreshing adventure, he will meet again after a long time with tiredness, hopelessness and pessimism, as well as good feelings that will make him feel alive.
