RISK MAP WILL BE UPDATED
With the first map announced, 81 provinces were divided into 4 color groups as low, medium, high and very high risk.
14 provinces were in the low risk group, 28 provinces in the medium risk group, 22 provinces in the high risk group, and 17 provinces in the very high risk group. But the number of cases has increased in the meantime.
The daily number of cases, which was 9 thousand 891 on March 1, when the map was announced, exceeded the limit of 15 thousand.
With the number of cases exceeding 15 thousand, the risk situation will be reviewed. The risk map will be updated. New restrictions will come to the fore in provinces with increased number and risk.
WHAT ARE THE COLORS DETERMINED?
The Ministry of Health announced that provinces with a weekly number of cases less than 10 per 100 thousand would be considered “low”, 11-35 “medium”, 36-100 “high”, and over 100 provinces “very high” risk.
According to this; blue represents low risk, yellow represents medium risk, orange represents high risk, red represents very high risk. The number of cases is not the only criterion for determining color codes.
Criteria such as the number of cases, population ratio, increase / decrease rate, vaccination rate, intensive care and service capacities will be calculated and explained together on the map.
WILL MEASURES BE INCREASED?
At the cabinet meeting, the risk status of the provinces will be evaluated by looking at the number of cases, hospital and intensive care capacities and vaccination rates.
New restrictions will also come to the fore in the provinces whose status has changed on the new map.
